Asking for a friend

A friend of mine has a 64 Bug thats stock with the 5-205 pattern.He really likes the Carrera 996 wheels but doesnt know what size and width would work on his bug.Hes on a budget so if these are really pricie would you have any recomendations in the porsche pattern or 4-100 bolt.He wants 15,16 or 17's.Thanks guys.
