Some new parts

Just wanted to get some feedback of what you guys think of my dash/interior look. Nothing to crazy.

I covered the glove box and homemade radio block off in blue vinyl, along with putting some behind the grills on either side of the speedometer. Autometer tachometer, cd player, Hurst shifter with hand stitched blue vinyl boot. I drilled out a pool ball and put a threaded insert in. My newest addition would be the Nardi Steering wheel. I LOVE IT.

Now a just need to save up for a set of recaro's and custom seat brackets

Looks clean and well done. Not my personal style choice, but I can definitely appreciate a job well executed!

That Nardi steering wheel is awesome for sure. How did you get the vinyl to clear the dash pad when the glove box door is opened?

Thanks!

You can actually adjust the glove box position by loosening up the mounting screws. When I initially reinstalled the glove box door it was sticking bad and i had to pull on the door and twist the knob at the same time. Then I adjusted the door down a little bit and it fits perfect.

I found it second hand off a classified listing on vwvortex.com. Looked forever for one with a decent price. I got a steel!

Sorry for being critical, but isn't the retro '70s nerd thing passe with the furry dice hung on the mirror? Apart from that the rest looks neat elegant and understated chic.

I second the dice removal but everything else looks great. I always wondered if a Nardi wheel would look good in a bug and it looks right at home. Aside from the dash that is just a cool picture, has that HDR look to it. Do you have a bigger desktop sized version?
