1303 trans & 944 IRS Arms

Hi everybody,
I have a ´70 IRS pan with a 1303 tranny I bought a set of 944 aluminum IRS arms.I want to keep the 4 speed so will I have to convert the CV joint flanges on the tranny to run the 944 trailing arms?If so which flanges can I use?

I am using type 181 (Thing) output flanges. The lock ring is tough to get out sometimes, so use quality pliers.
