Need a HELP!

Hi!

I need from you some good advice! I plane to put at my 1303 S bug rear disc!
One of my problem is that I live in Croatia so original parts for my is something like nice dream.... So I haw to be man of my one .....
I bought from junckyard VW golf caliper... my problem is that cylinder size is 38 mm.
I read on this forum about front rear break balance... So I need someone to confim my thinking...

In front I have standard calipers and disc on rear golf caliper and golf I front disc.
If I count brak size front -rear I get (4,16:3,76) or 1,11:1 this is very bad I know but then the disc size is diferent fron diameter is 278mm and rear is 238mm. So the moment at front is biger then back so at the and I get balance 1,3:1 is this good inaf? What else I can do to inpruf balans of breaking?

Thanks a lot!

Regards from Croatia!

Tomica

p.s. sorry for my english…

Hello!

From what golf is your calipers sourced from mk ?
If is from mk i is not recommended to use them.
If is from mk ii/ii go ahead and put them.
No brake balance adjuster is required at all.
Most aftermarket rear brake kits use oem golf mk ii/iii calipers.
Have you ever see any of the kits to come with a balance adjuster? No!
So, go ahead and keep us informed!

Best rgds,
