5x100 or 5x130
Hi,
I want to convert a 1975 Super Beetle (1303) with stock fenders (wings) to being able to use one of the current Passat wheels. The one set of Passat wheels which I like are 5x100's and the other set is 5x130's. I will be adding disk brakes all around and I will be adding wider fenders (wings) first. Is there something important to consider that a technoklutz like me hasn't in choosing. Thanks, René |

5 x 100 is the new vw bolt pattern
5 x 130 is the old & new porsche pattern

B5 and 5.5 Passats are 5x112, same as Audi (except TT, that's 5x100). So...
Porsche 5x130 VW and Audi TT 5x100 (except Passat) Audi and Passat (except TT) 5x112
