BBS 17" wheels onto the type3 Squareback

Since my bug is not going anywhere and its rims have still M+S (winter) tires on them, I thought I'd try them on the square: They fitted

Since these are 7+8,5J x 17, that was very much a (pleasant) surprise
Damn, it almost immediately looks a GL now

Thought, I'd share my joy.
Regards,
Walter

What is the offset on those wheels? I'm looking for the same dimension for my Type-34 Ghia too.

You wouldn't have the picture of the Square with those wheels anywhere?

Hi Wally

Not saying anything bad about your Type 3, but "wheels make the car" It just looks so right with those wheels./

You're totally right Steve. Like I wrote earlier, I sold the car, so no worries

Oddly enough, all of my cars (1303, 412) I have put these wheels under, looked 100% better with them...
