1302 better brakes?
Looking for a front disc brakes for my 71 1302 superbeetle.
I don't think I need anything fancy, just discs in front and bigger drums in the rear. Somebody has gone for really good stuff and still has their old set up around, right? I would prefer something OEM, or at least high quality. I just don't trust the new kit stuff, but I may be wrong... I'll be hunting local (oregon) swap meets untill I find something. Advice would also be good! |

I, too, went with TopLine with disks on all four corners. I understand the Type 3 drum is a less expensive yet effective upgrade for the rear brakes.
There are less expensive front disks than TopLine, but now you're cutting corners where one (me, for example ) shouldn't cut corners. MOO |
