Mazda RX7 turbo calipers
I just pulled a set of RX7 4 pot calipers off a wreck at the local parts yard, they were for a friends MR2, but I was thinking they look like they'd be a good upgrade over the NA 944 brakes and should still fit inside a 15" wheel.
anyone done this before? well I'm going to keep my eyes open for another set (expecially if I can get them for as cheep as these went for) and see If I cant make them work.

yes I found the type 4 at marshals, I got an alright price for the intake manifold and a bunch of the injection stuff, good news is the toyota injectors I have, fit right into the bungs, so Ineed to fab up some fuel rails for them, and get the rest of the intake setup worked out to match up to the Supercharger.

cool, I'm going to find another set and make use of them, and I definatly want the front a bit lower, so i'LL make use of a set of dropped spindles as well.

anyone know much about these calipers?
I'm wanting to polish them up but I had a question, the little nub below where MAZDA is cast into them can this be ground off? good sence would tell me that this might be where brakefluid travels connecting the two pistons on that side of the caliper, but if it is not, I'd just as soon grind it off for a cleaner look.

I disassembled one, the bump is infact a passage, good thing I didn't grind it down. I guess one could pug it and grind it down, since it's redundant. but no sence doing that.
