I have the coolest brother-in-law
Hey Guys,
I have the coolest brother in law. Was visiting him before christmas. Tells me he was in a local junk yard scrounging Volvo parts (he's a volvo guy) and saw a bus. Got me all the details, '77, motor still there, 2.0, looked okay and pretty complete. We go over and check it out monday, still there, still turns over smooth. Bus was last registered in 90. So we pulled it and brought it home. Some of the FI is gone, but would pull it off anyway. Still has oil in it. New clutch and pressure plate dated '86. I figure I can pull off the FI, change the flywheel, tune it up, install some carbs, and put it in my 73 camper. We'll see how it goes. Merry Christmas!
