reading plugs

Greetings. It has come to my attention that we may not be able to read sparkplugs today as we did yesterday. Perhaps this is due to the absence of lead. Perhaps there are new colors that I must get used to. I'm thinking that I should be able to tell rich from lean at least. Input from you will be helpful. Thanks, Regis

hi
i reckon you can still read plugs screw your idle mixtures out idle for 5 and pull tyhem see what it looks like !

put your screws back where they should be clean plugs now look if you got blowby caused by worn rings your still going to get oily plugs and if your engines lean there going to start to deteriate.

so yea it may be harder now were unleaded but you can still getr a damn good idear whats happening in those chanbers from looking at your plugs.
