Is there a grade assigned to wheel studs?

i was just talking about this with Jim from So Cal. he says you don't want anything less than grade 10. there apparently is a grade for every class though. so a grade 10 in aircraft is different than a grade 10 for wheels. the wheel class is rated for pull and shear, where the aircraft or your run of the mill bolt is only rated for pull. additionally, the core is constructed different for each.

i am a novice at this and am only regergitating (sp?) what Jim had to say. suggest you call him. he really seems to know his stuff (i can't call bs on it anyway). or maybe someone else here can speak on the subject. i have been on the hunt for studs and nuts for my application and customspeedparts.com seems to have a pretty good assortment. i am still coming up dry though on 14mm flat nuts (non-tapered). my adapters are flat surfaced where the nut will seat and no one seems to have them in 14mm, only 12mm and 1/2". i had a good experience when i bought my drums from them.
