Is there any pieces missing from the strut top mount

Can someone have a look at the attached picture of how the top strut mount is laid out to fit it back together.
1. Purple spring cup.
2. bearing.
3. top body mount.
4. concave plate.
5. lock nut and washer.
So is there any bits missing for this assembly?
When I tried to put it together there was a gap between the purple cup and the top mount cup itself. It seems that the bearing is holding it apart. My concern is this purple spring cup will shatter if it has got no support behind it.
So if anyone has fitted Kerscher 2 bolt struts, from an 3 bolt early type please have a look and put me right .

just got my kerscher struts yesterday and will be assembling for mock-up within the next few days, two-bolt for the 944 spindles going on a '73.
i'll get a pic as soon as possible when i do. i was wondering about the synthetic spring perches when they arrived, but i don't believe they would be so weak as to "shatter", coming from a company with kerscher's reputation.

i didn't have any problems, except mauling the driver side spring with my
chi-com spring compressor. let us know how it goes.
