help.

just got a 73 beetle, completely stock, i want to lower it, get disks up front and new wheels amongst a long list of other things. I need your help. im going to get 5x130 stud pattern disks and convert the rear drums to the same, im looking at some 16" bbs reps. if im lowering my car what offset and width can i get away with under stock wings? im getting a new adjustable front beam, is it worth getting a narrowed one as they are the same price? any help is a great help. thanks.
