An update......3 years later.

Reason taking so long, in mid 2008, my mom was in hospital for a year with ulcerative colitis, shes doing good now but still not walking yet, do to her insurance ran out early 2009. So my dad , me and my brother been helping her get better. She told us to get back onto the bug now, so it can be on the road.
So heres and update of my bug.

I bought drop spindles for the new front stance, and the family friend redid the front brakes and installed them for me, he's doing the rear tomorrow.

update, my mechanic has been out of town so the rear hasnt been done yet. Meanwile, i bought a resessed fiberglass hood for 75 bucks, gonna have it painted blue and maybe playing with the idea of making my own design to flow with the lines of the hood. Also my chrome spinners came in, an im using empi 8 spoke wheels. There goin to be solid gloss black with no polished lip.And im thinking of going with raised white letter tires front and rear or maybe just in the rear. Tires will be 195/50/15's up front and 195/60/15's in rear.

My 195/50/15's with 8 spoke wheels. There gloss black with chrome lug nuts an knock off spinners.I guess now its kinda GL lol, I'm deciding whether or not to go with fat taller tires in rear or go with a wider lower profile tire like the front.
