UK 1302 spindles...

Oh, yea....forgot something...

I was wondering how hard it would be to get my paws on some 1302 spindles that are stock on UK spec supers, the ones with provisions for calipers. I like this rather than some adaptor bolted to the existing spindle...seems safer I guess. Can anyone help me with this one??? Thanks.

Good luck! I priced them at the dealership when I was in Europe back in 1997 and they are US$750 new.

The caliper brackets are okay, in fact the ones that are in the Topline Parts kit are made on these specs. Jon @ Topline is the only one in USA that I know of who owns a sets of those Euro spec spindles.

Whoa!

Do they not have pick-a-parts over there??!!

I was hoping I could find a good ol' chap to see if they could find a set next time they're at a junk yard or such.

nevermind I guess.

Honestly, it was so long ago, I don't remember. However, since I'm a 1303 'kinda guy' I'm sure that's for the 73-79.

I thought early -74 (positive roll radius) 1303 (Supers) had the same front end as 1302?
We do have junk yards but not many Beetles in them!
