I am supporting the end of the rod, then running two small universals with a diagonal shaft to bring them together.

In a suby trans install, the shift rod on the trans is about 2 inches off centre.

FYI, Birdman

Ours seams to be working realy good.... I don't see it as a band aid and it works smooth... But you just keep putting and over thinking simple things....

Yes Kevin it certainly does "work" but holding your hood down with a bundgy cord (i think tha's what yanks call an occy strap) also "works"

If I was spending $435 on a high quality billet shifter, I would want the best solution for the other end of the shift rod too.

I wont bother detailing the many issue one would encounter over time.

Why don't you answer my question on the Samba so I can buy your product?
and try to stop burning potential customers!
