What's the difference???
I need early 944 rear hubs and backing plates/caliper mounting brackets for my 993 conversion. Will late 85 work (85.5)? What's the difference between the early and late and why won't they work if so? THANKS!!!!!

No one ???
Well, you can use every year 944 NA & 924 TBO/GT rear caliper brackets and hubs are all the same. The differences you are refer to are for the later aluminium trailing arms who the caliper brackets cannot be removed (one piece casting)... Rgds,

Thanks!! The alum. are a wider track if I remember correctly, so I probably don't want them. Am I right?

The only difference is the wider track... Up to you if that is what you want to do or not.

Thanks fellas! I don't want any more track so I'll stick with the early set-up. Now where to find 'em.
