Some of the 928 brake componets (discs, calipers, hubs) are the same as the 944 and can be used. You'll need some 944 (caliper mount) parts for the rear.

Superman, any idea which ones are interchangeable. I have been trying to source 944 turbo hubs here in Australia, and they are impossible to find.

I have a friend who breaks 928's and has several front/rear axles including everything for various year 928's. do you think a hub off a 928 could be used?

Thanks

My only experience with 928 parts are in the books, meaning that I have never actually had the parts in my hands to compare them. However, I have knowledge that the 928 and 944 used the same brakes (not the spindles but the hubs/rotors/calipers). What I see from the part numbers listed in the Porsche book is that they will interchange.

Thanks Superman I will photograph some of the parts when I go over there and put up in a new post.

Not sure if I want to use the parts of this S4 here in Australia, as I think its cursed. Literally wrapped around a telegraph pole I think!

The brakes from the S4 were also used on the late 944 Turbo S (952).
