The price varies in different parts of the country. If they can give you a nice smooth finish (no lint or trash), $165 is not bad. I've never had to pay for any powder coating before. The last place I worked at had its own coating system set-up, and then I got my own stuff before I left.

Phone dials are Aluminum, not Magnesium. That should make it easier to work with.
