New Porshe Alloys
what would have to be done to fit 18x8 Porshe alloys on the back of a 73? It will stay stock height with disk brakes. Fitting them under the stock fenders is out of the question, so what are some of the things I should prepare and look for when converting? any help would be great.. Thanx

You'll need 5x130 drums, wider fenders and spacers for sure.
Be prepared to trim some metal from the inner fenderwell and replace the spring plate bolts with a button-head bolt. The rest is measurements and preperation.

I think the offset of an 18x8 wheels is 50mm, which means that there is a -50mm offset on that wheel. That means that the mounting surface is 50mm away from the centerline of the wheel (toward the face). I'm not that good with this stuff either, especially with a wheel I don't know, so someone else will be along to give a better explination.
Axle's don't enter into this at all. The new 5x130 pattern drum fits as a stock drum would. No guesswork or modifications needed. Bolt on and go. I have them, so I know what im talking about
