What do you think of these?

Is Voxx any good? I love the look of these. 18" and setup for a Boxter so they should fit.

Don't know anything about Voxx, but the wheels look good! I really like the style of the lip. Only thing negative would be that they are ten spokes and have the boltheads, the combination of the two starts to look a little busy.
Check the weight, 25lbs for an average, approaching 30 is getting too heavy. My Gemballas felt really, really heavy. The new Kinesis are featherweights!

Yeah, i know how you feel...My original centerlines weigh 6.5 lbs each! To bad my rotors are pretty much larger than the rim.
I really need to sell these. let me know if anyone is interested. New tires...

It sucks that kinesis rims are like 5 g's for a set...Damn thats a lot of money for wheels, can you imagine the feeling you get after scraping the curb or hitting a pot hole!

I just paid $1800 for a set for the bus... they look perfect and with fairly new tires. The deals are out there.

They are about 25 lbs each, cast, not forged The trouble may be offset 45 front, 47 rear. I'm going to check today, but I think I'm running 55 on the front right now and I don't remember what for the rear, but I can't go out any more, I'm already maxed right now. I like the Champion wheels!

These are nice too.

Kinesis

I don't think you could be running 55ets up front unless you are somehow running a rear wheel on front???
Not that running that et is bad for the front if that's what it takes to fit... I'm basing all this from my Gemballas I had, the fronts 18x8.5 were et47 and the rears 18x10 were et52.

You might keep an eye on those Kinesis, could be a bargain if you can stretch the budget a little ...

I checked my offsets today the the Cup IIs. 55 for both, and I'm fresh out of room moving them outward, so it'll have to be 55 or more!

That sucks. Had no idea the offset was that high. The guy that bought my Gems, bought them to replace cup IIs and they were a perfect fit?
A wider fender is definately out?

Trouble is that I already have the widest fenders that CCC makes. Remember, I don't have Type 1 rear suspension, so I'm already a couple of inches wider than stock, plus I have struts to clear.

I didn't realize the 1.8 FWD setup was wider than a type 1 rear... but I'm VERY aware how much difference 1" of clearance can be when you're trying to fit stuff.
I do know a good fiberglass guy... HEY! is THAT why you're collecting Moby pics???

You wouldn't want them even if I was selling them. They are bent, one REALLY badly. It's almost oblong! I got them for very little as my build wheels, if you look on some of the double wishbone susupension pics you can even see where I've written BENT on them!
