It's because the directory (_La1eAqcYaPA) in the link has the _underscore_ which makes the forum software see it as a script and a possible threat.

It should, as they look incredibly similar, but I have not physically tried it myself.

The square drive does but you will have to come up with some other way to retain it as the collar doesn't fit... Thinking about it, maybe a 924 cable would fit?

I know that a 924 has the same type of end on the wheel side. square/through the spindle/etc and it should be about the right length.

The Type 3s also have a tube style sender. I wonder if the 924/944 fuel gauge would be compatible??

1303 speedo cable works fine with 924 speedo (pre 1980, I have 1977 gauges) the problem is that gear ratio is different than beetles, 60km/h on the speedo is about 50km/h, I have checked that with drill on cerain rpm

It's a direct drive from the front wheel for both cars so it all depends on what size tyres you run...

I have a 924 speedo that I'm fitting to my fastback and the cable fits and screws on perfectly
