New Member : New Avatar : How?

I've just joined.
I've looked everywhere and I can't find the field for installing a new avatar.
I must have missed it somewhere.
Sorry to have to ask.. but how do I do this?
Cheers, Brian

at the top of this page right above where it says to Reply to THread..
there is a button that says 'User CP'. Thats the control panel.

Click on that button then look down on your left for the Avatar button...

Thanks for your help... but for some reason I'm not getting it.

I believe I am doing as you suggest, I then get to the "Edit Avatar" screen and it says:

"Your Current Avatar
No Avatar Specified
Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it. "

But this doesn't allow me to actually set up a new avatar.

I'm missing something critical somewhere. Any more suggestions please?

Brian

Giday Brian, fancy meeting you here!

It appears as though Brian is missing the lower part of the screen where you have options to add your web address for your avatar.

Is this a thing that is missing from new members profiles (until you have enough posts)?

Any feedback from the moderators?

Cheers
Jeremy

OK... thanks someone.
I got a new email and after following the instructions some new options and with luck I now have an avatar. Lets see what happens now.
Cheers, Brian
