kerscher

Ok guys you probably heard it all before,

kerscher coil overs up front and koni yellow shocks on back of my 1971 1302s bug.


what offset of wheels do i need in order to run 17"x 7" rims all round under stock fenders,and recomendations for tyre size

how much should i be able to lower bug with the kerschers,

anyone got the same set up

Lowering is subjective, I can suggest tire sizes:

205/40 F, 225/40R, 17x7 et40 (+-2mm) offset.

my 17' BRMs replicas are 17x7 et 35 and bolt up just fine without any modifications to the stock trailing arm bolts or upper bump-stop arm. I measured the gaps with the 215/45/17 tires that were on the rear and found that a 235/40/17 will fit without rubbing.
