Post How to create your profile...

On the main page on the left side you will find a Submissions box. In it there is a "Members Profile" link.
Once you select that it will ask you for forum member ID and password. Only members of the forum are allowed to submit their ride.
Once you authenticated you are able to create your profile with details of your car. After that you are able to upload 4 pictures. Make sure that the pictures are at least 640x480 in size for the best quality. Pictures that are smaller will be cropped to that size decreasing the quality of the picture.

A thread for your ride will be automatically created in this forum.

If you have any questions about it please ask them in this thread.

I think there is a problem with code using the database of the old forum to log in. I have to talk to Sandeep about this.

This might take a while.

The avatar needs to have a certain pixel size. What is the error message you are seeing?

Do you actually select the "Use custom avatar" dot?
If you use that the do not use avatar dot will go away. Works for me.

The member profile on the main page does not work. The new forum uses different authentication encryption.

We still have to figure this out. Does the avatar now work?

Just be patient....no one can update their members ride at the moment.
We are working on it.

This section of the site is available again ... sorry for the delay. The colors throughout the whole site will be changed to match the forums so don't be alarmed when you look at a page and the colors are not correct.

Hope to have this fixed for Wednesday morning.

Sandeep

Hello,

Well, I thought it was time to put an avatar in my profile, but it doesn't work for me!
I don't even have a "use custom avatar" button! It sounds I've the same "problem" Xzenor mentioned. Maybe it's just me having my fingers in a cyberknot !

Cheers,
Richard

Click on "User CP" upper left corner. Go to "Edit Avatar" on the left menu bar.
Select "Use custom avatar" and upload you avatar from a web site or local hard drive.

Also in the "Edit Options" on the left menu bar of your User CP make sure that you have "Show Avatar" enabled.
