If it is a 911 tach. it will not work on a 4 cyl.
All the rest of them shold be fine.

keep hunting. i got a near perfect set of 914 gauges on ebay for $25. also bought a 911 pres/temp for $15 or $20. and the 914 tach obviously works with a 4-cyl VW engine.
