will a bus trans fit the T1 flywheel?

have a Kennedy adaptor plate + flywheel to mate a subary engine to a type 1 trans but want to put a VW bus trans on it because they are stronger.
Will this fit the flywheel?

From what I understand, yes you can use the T1 flywheel on the bus tranny, the T1 is the smallest of flywheels and the bus tranny is the biggest of bellhousings.
It's when you try to use the larger flywheels (bus, T4, 228mm) in a T1 tranny that you run into problems. I've seen pics of the clearancing that has to be done to fit that big flywheel in that small bellhousing of the T1 tranny, it aint pretty.
