Calipers

Is there any difference between a RHD and LHD 993tt calipers. As one of my friends upgraded his 968cs brakes to big red lobsters and was told to buy specifically for RHD as he ordered his from U.S.! I thought that it would be all the same, anybody done a 993tt conversion on a RHD bug?

Hmmm does not really make sense to me. Sandeep told me though that there are differences though in calipers that are mounted either in the front or in the back of the spindle. The smaller piston is supposed to be the first one in the driving direction which means that if you have a back mounted caliper it should be the bottom one. All the 993TT calipers have a mounting arrow on them. Not sure about the others.

Hi

When I mounted both front & rear calipers on my bug I had to swap the bleed nipples and feed pipes to the opposite end of the calipers so that the smaller piston saw the rotor first.
