Porject

^ The subject was a typo... but made sence, so it stays (get it Porsche project) .

Well, i thought i would show some of my 1303 auto-x/ canyon ripper project pictures (still in the early stages of the ever lasting project).

I have my motor 99.9% done ( 1915cc type-1 semi mild/wild build),
and the body is just about ready for paint (well it's ready, i just need to set up a date at the paint booth to seal/topcoat/clear). In the mean time while i was waiting for parts aswell as other things i decided i could not wait ANY longer for "carbon Joe" to get my dash made, or have the original one i sent him shipped back to me (hey 2 years already!). So i begain building my own track inspired dash out of an original 1303 dash and a 914 guage panel. (If your reading this Joe, this dosent mean i dont need that 911 dash! AND WHY NOT THINK ABOUT CONTACTING ME EH?)

Anyways, "ALL" i have LEFT to do (ha!) is get the thing painted (original color...black!), sort out the wiring, fuel lines, oil lines, build an exhaust off the A-1 sidewinder header, instal and sort out the motor/ engine bay, install an original 1303 BN-2 heater system and finnish the dash... not to much eh? then maybe i can drive it and THEN sort out everything once more.

More pics on the way.... feel free to add coments good AND THE BAD!

Jonathan

more pictures....

BTW, some time this week i will post some more pics of the dash, the pics im posting now are from 3 months- 2 weeks ago and have made progress on the car since. Things like the glove box door (no glove box though, im going to re-mount my watson's fuse pannel and related electrical behind the door, aswell as hidden switches) and more finnishing of the overall dash.

I like the way the dash is coming along. It is easy to envision the finished product. Your pics are also more fuel to the fire that my next house has to have a garage. Nice work overall. :agree:
