piston ?????

I have been doing like crazy reading with here, shoptalk, aircooledtech, and tunacan. so I am almost ready with money, to start.

one question with 103mm piston does anything have to be done with the head bolts? are they in the way or anything with the piston skirts

I know Wally has 103's anyone else

Hey mate
I believe everything to be OK, just have the case machined,and heads to.
If you`ve ever seen t-1 head bored out for 94mm setup , they`ll look similar in the fact the bore cuts into the bolt holes. This is OK because the sealing is between the head and lip of the cylinder.The skirt end they is a little less meat around the cylinder. So not as much needs to be bored out. Head stud bolt should be fine.

If I am wrong, please someone correct me.

I can take a picture of my cylinders and post if you need me to.

You have nothing to worry about with the stock head studs Johnny.
