Another option posted that came up when I was looking at taking the sawzall/welder at it similarly was that Marco Mansi sells T1-inner mount eccentric bolts.
His website seems to be down at the moment (worked recently) , but here's a thread where he first posted them AFAICT, with pics if you scroll down... Cell phone cameras have come a long way since 2007 These have been around awhile so you may have seen them, just crossing the "i"s and dotting all the "t"s. Putting my 86 944T arms on next week. Played with ludicrous sized front brakes today. Figured out a cheap DIY mostly bolt on combo for Wilwood Dynalites w/vented rotors for T3s. (works better with early spindles, not bad calipers with the bridge bolt mod) Also found how I'll probably install the Superlites, a little welding needed. I cant shrink the pics to 85K, not happening. That's worse than even the STF with its odd image geometry size limits and related issues. Will link if interested, need to post over there anyway on project. Last edited by piledriver; May 8th 2016 at 02:42. |

Hi Piledriver,
Please start a topic so that we can see your project, sounds interesting. I have the Marco Mansi adjusters but I am not really happy with them. not enough adjustment for my setup and I had to modify them to make them fit.

Rearsuspension version 3.0 is almost ready, only need to receive the new toe in / toe out adjuster plates and mount them. also relocated the gearbox and made new mountings.

Done some small things, but has to be done.
*Made a stronger adjustable bracket for the rear suspension and bought 10,9 bolts and nuts to mount them. *Changed the Porsche 914 hubs from 4 to 6 bolts. *Made a bracket for the new throttle cable. *Made a throttle cable mount to the throttle pedal. *Pressure test the rear brakes (fail :-( )

I'm sorry if you've already stated this, but what steering rack is that out of? Nice work!

Made 2 driveshafts out of 4 VW Golf shafts.
Yesterday I mounted the T1 and T2 CV's and fitted them on the car. Paul.
