944 trans flange

I was hoping the 944 (915 CV) trans flange would fit a 901 Porsche trans so I could swap the stock 901 cv flange for the bigger one. No go. It won't fit a bug trans either. But now I know.

Hi,
Could you be a little more specific about what you are trying to fit to what?
Are you trying to fit 915 911Sc output shafts to a 901 transmission? If so there are 2 different types of output shaft. One with corse splines (18 in all) and one with almost twice as many (I can't remember how many!).
At the other end of the driveshaft... are you trying to fit 944 stub axles to the suspension arms? the 944 stub axles from a pre '86 944 (steel arm suspension) will fit in place of the Beetle items giving you a T2/944 CV size which the 944 driveshaft will then bolt to.
Hope this helps.
