Indeed it is. Did you need to remachine after welding for flatness?

No, it stayed flat...remember part of my day job is welding I did check it though. All parts were turned on the lathe for tight fit before welding.

No, my neighborhood is just getting back to normal after the F4 tornado rearranged it at the end of April. My shop has been a storage area for house hold items. Should get back on it in October

NoH20 and i often say wrench could weld the crack of dawn.btw wrench you wanna make some money the easy way off one of those tuna cans?

Very nice What hp estimate, 250hp? I will build similar type big N/A engine at the future, it T1 based 2789cc engine with JPM MS230 heads, already coming flanged 86 crank , strong TF-1 throughbolt case and 101,6mm nickies


Its funny today, if you say to some people that you have +2,7 litre +220hp engine, they sometimes start to think immediately that you must have powerful porsche engine...No, its "just" based to a VW engine...they wont always believe it

Should be close to 250hp...more interested in torque though...that should be 250 Have not had time to do much with it lately though. Trying to get some time soon.
