I have hadmy 1303 also weighted at a race shop on all 4 corners. Very interesting.
Without me, I had a distribution of 57.7 / 42.3 % rear/front. I also have the battery in front and the oil tank, but heavy sway arms (large turbo units), thick rear stabilizor and a 915 tranny.
With me it was about 55/45 too

How much gas did you have in the car when it was weighed? And Chris, IMO I would imagine that the standard bug would be worse because Supers are heavier (right?) and I would imagine that all the extra weight would be in the front suspension, being the only major difference between the two..

Good point: it was full, so about 40 liters.
Total weight with full tank but without me was 940 kg...

I'll say!
But...stock on my registration is 849 kg, lets say 850kg, but I think thats without any fuel (40kg), so the stock weight would be a dry weight.
So, I think its about 50 kg heavier than stock. I know where the weight has gone and its all 'spend' well, but your right, upgrading the car would really mean losing weight without loosing the positive things that that purposely added extra weight (in parts and construction) has brung...

Does anyone have weight on seperate wheels and front / rear?
Preferrably on a bone stock one without/with driver.

What I want to know is what should be moved and where.

Is your bug RHD or LHD?

It's quiet strange, but my bug (1975 1303) is heavier on the drivers side (which is the left side) even without me in it. It gets even more uneven when I'm inside.
