Drums in 4-100 bolt pattern
Does anyone know of any other places that sell drums in the 4-100 pattern for a 72 Standard bug ?The only site I found was cip1.

There was a company called Jatech Forge that had blank drums, rotors, and welded dropped spindles. They could drill for a 4x100. I did a google on the name and nothing came up. (this was years ago though)

looks like cip1 is the winner then.Is it safe to get the stock drums drilled for the 4-100, just wondering.

It's been done. I think there's a little extra work on the back side though. As you get closer to the center the casting gets thicker, and you have to counter bore all the holes down to the same depth. (not really all that big a deal)

would the be cheaper to do or round the same as paying 80 bucks a drum, if you know?

I would guess about the same... unless you have a friend that works at a machine shop.

I believe the ones CIP1 sells are modified from stock in that they don't have the rear 5 arm web like stock, they are just thick everywhere so any pattern has a safe thickness of metal to drill into, check it out.
