clearance problem, need help
At the front of my 1979 1303 "vert" i'm driving 7x17 et55 boxter turbo's with 205/40/17 tyres. At full steering lock the tyres rub against the inner well. My problem is that this is not allowed for the yearly inspection. The problem is that my super has the latest steering that can not be limited! Somebothy suggested to mount some smaller rims with tyres that will not rubb but I don't know what size rim to look for keeping in mind that I'm driving also
4-pot brembo's calipers. Help is needed!!! |

Get a 10-15 mm spacer, should be about perfect. The wheels on my 1302 are 17x7 et40. No rubbing, perfectly tucked. What suspenion setup do you have?

stuart, that surprises me based on info i have heard over time (sorry i drive a standard so can't speak with experience). small spacers are probably the best answer as noted above..
