Can I use the original parts off the 911 on my bug?

I am getting a 1965 porsche 901 tranny off of a 1965 911 carrera, Can I use the trailing arms, cv's and everything?
Is there a tech article on installing the cv's and drive shafts?
There is a 944 and a 924 in the local junk yard what parts should I get if I go there to fit my 901 tranny to the 1971 irs pan?

The 944 rear suspension will bolt in with little to no modification depending on what year it is from. The 911 trailing arms are not going to work on your car they mount differently to the body then your bug. I think the stock VW CV joint assemblies will work with the 901 transmission. With a rotary engine there isn't enough tourqe to break the CV's. I used to have an RX-7 and it didn't start pulling untill 5,000 rpm. If your stock axles are good I would run those until they break then replace them.
