Anyone running 911 "A" calipers on 944 hubs?

I might not be asking this quite right, but has anyone substituted the 944 (56mm single pot) calipers with a 911 SC "A" (48mm two pot) caliper?

Since I do not have an "A" caliper I cannot tell if the bolt spacing or offset is the same or not.

Thanks,

Hello,

I have done this mod although with the aluminum "S" calipers. The boltspacing between the 944 and the 911 calipers is different as is the offset.
Although I don't have the numbers in my head (it's been a few years ago) I believe the boltspacing on the 911 calipers is about 12mm wider and the offset was not very much, it could be overcome with some thick rings. This depends a lot on the bracket you have offcourse.
Hope this helps a little.

Cheers,
Richard
