Cam gears
What are the pros n cons of straight cut vrs. normal gears? Thinking of using st. cut for the engine.

correct me if i'm wrong, but straight cut is the way to go if you have any horse power as it eliminates the thrust and is better for the bearings, it is alittle louder though (which is why factory dose not use them)

Exactly. It also requires less HP to drive than the stock. The only real downside as said above is the noise. You'll get a whine similar to a gear drive on a V8. IMO... Definitely worth it.

Good point on the extra hp, i really like the noise, it sounds tough,
But i think it's the way to go. |
