951 rear brake install

I have almost all the parts I need now (I think), and I'm getting reazdy to put it all in after I get parts powdercoated. German cars all use 10mm metric bubble brake lines, right? Can I use Beetle stainless steel flex lines, or do I need to use 951 parts? For the parking brake, can I use the beetle cable tube, or again, do I need a 951 part for that?

i used beetle parts for all of the above if i recall correctly. beetle hard lines, ss flex lines. best way to deal with the parking brake is the goose neck change to the brake-side lever. look up sandeep's post about it. i think flat may be selling them. that came about just months after doing mine the hard way, modifying the cable end. vw cables will do, but again if i remember correctly, i may have gone with a ghia cable which was slightly longer. do some searching though. it has been a while since i did the mod.
