Brake pads

I'm putting '86 951 brakes under my bug, and I was wondering what brake pads people are using? I'm looking for somehting that isn't going to take a lot of heat to get grip, but also not something that will produce a lot of brake dust. Any tips, suggestions, warnings, etc?
