me.......

crx springs, spring perches,
civic rubber donut thingys

on my 1302 strut.

allowed me to go 205/45/17 with a 17x7 et42. no problems.

put the rubber donut on the spring perch of your strut. weld the crx spring perch on your upper spring plate. install honda spring inbetween and voila your done. i actually welded the honda spring perch a little offset to allow more clearance for tire/rim. i bet i could put a 215 tire on it. i have my strut on its lowest setting.

anyways, hope this helps.
any more questions? just ask.

i believe the civic and integra springs will have a harder ride. the crx is the lighter car of the 3 so i fell they should be soft enough for the front of the bug. it is tight and seems pretty good.

i am running 205/40/17's on the front of my 1302. no problems. i have to get this picture stuff figured out. it has a rear crx spring on the strut. i don't know the difference between the diameters. i'll have to measure. the honda spring is much smaller.
