My New DashBoard

Hi,

After months of hardwork and playing with fibreglass, and wrapping with leather, this is what came out.. It's for my 1973 1303S. It has built-in air-conditing vents via a blower installed inthe trunk of the car. It's not perfect but it's a beauty! .. Cheers!

Please give your comments. Once I get the dashboard installed, I'll snap a few more pictures. .

cheers,
Danny

(Yes .. It's a right-hand drive. I'm from Malaysia . Anybody from around here?)

Hello krazz77, from Singapore. Very nice dash you have, with the Porsche gauges. Any events coming up in Malaysia?

Hi,

I have gotten the dashboard installed ! .. Some of the pics are show here .. Now, the "K" steering really looks out of place in the car .

There's still plenty to do, the stereo's and LCD screen's not installed yet, interior carpeting not done up yet, and the car is still rolling on stock drums and stock rims! ..

sadly, I'll have to postpone completion til next year due to work commitments !! I'll be relocated to Bangalore , India ( wonder if there's any presence of beetles in India??? .. ) ..

cheers,

Danny .. Malaysia ..

Hi SilverBullet,

Wow! .. saw your profile .. Nice car you have! Think I have heard of you, your car's done by Thomas (Volks-Haven?) By the way, I'm from JB. Never really joined any events or clubs .. so .. dunno much about any other events other than bugfest! .. heheh

Yah . the porsche guages are from a porsche 914 . I imported them from US.

Anyway .. do drop me a mail at krazz77@yahoo.com .. may need to ask something about those mouth-watering braking systems!! .. woah!

Cheers,
Danny ..
