Wheel/tire width for flared and non-flared fenders

I would like to ask which fender will accomodate wider wheel/tire, flared one (Kafer-cup style) or non-flared one (both are same widened).

Thanks
Tim

I might be reading it wrong but sorry I do not understand your question.

Hi Superman,

Sorry for my English. Maybe this question itself doesn't make sense. I mean whether the flared fender or the non-flared fender will accomodate wider tire and allow the car lowered more without scratching the tire (let say both types of fender are widened by 40mm).

Maybe both are the same but I have the feeling that the non-flared one can accomodate wider tire.

Hopefully this time my question is clearer.

Tim

Yes I understand now and would have to agree with you that the [due to the shape] non-flared widened fender would be better.
