Pictures of coolant line routing

Hello all,

I'd like to see some examples of coolant line routing from those running watercooled engines in their GL projects.

Hi

This is my old 1302, the main lines follow the heater channels bolts and are held by brackets attached to the heater channel bolts.

Note the hose clamp holding the tubing on the above 2 photos. I loved the simplicity of it. I just cut a small slot at the base of the pan with a Dremel cut off, then threaded the clamp through, around the tubing, then tightened it up after adding some rubber tubing behind it to prevent chafing.



This was just a temp bracket...

My ghetto install:
Straigh pipes running under the car:


Link the pipes to the motor:


Flexhose linking the main pipes to the engine:


Here you see that my header is still lower than the pipes. Haven't hit anything (yet):
