timing for a1835

Hi,finally I'm completing a friends build. He has a mild cam,dual dells40.

What would be a good starting point for his timing,I think I remember the book calls for 25 degrees@2500. anyone have better timing specs?

Hi mate, The accepted maximum all in advance for air cooled non turbo motors is 32*, but play safe and use 30* in case of inaccurate timing marks on the pulley, don't know we're 25* comes from , books are often wrong and it will run badly and very hot at that. Good luck with it.
