57 type1 street & drag racing

i have 1957 type 1 need to know what year swing axle pan to use dont have original i will be racing this car plan to have at least 180 hp 2275cc the car will remain street legal i want disc brakes and need to lower front end already have centerline 5.5'"wheels for front and 7.0" for rear will have fiberglass 2" wider fenders for rear which is better ball joint or link pin thanks for any help ronnie gonzales email rgonzales12463@aol.com

I would use the ball joint system, besides the link pin is light and better for 1/4 miling. Hmm, I would use the bj, better ride, stronger parts and easier to handle. You can get the centerlines in 4 bolt, too, or you use the disc brake system form CSP on your bj end and go with wide 5!
