Heres My 79 Transporter..
Figured you all would like to know what Ive done to it..
It has: 18x8 Millie Miglias Spider rims.. 225 x4 Perrelis Front Porsche calipers, Bilstein shocks Rear coilovers 1911cc with a 2.0 fuel inj. Ported heads, custom full flow exhuast, and Elc ign. Dynoed at 115hp and 131.2 lbs of tourque. Exterior: Stock O.G Tan & Brown Stock Metal Sunroof Clear Turn signal lenses Chrome bumpers H4's Carbon fiber decklid ( not installed yet) Interior: 1980 Porsche carrrera seats ( Getting recovered) Rear seats have 4 point harnesses on all mounts. All seats have head rests. x4 6 1/2 pioneers x2 12 1/2 subs Oatmeal carpet Custom install on a Late 914 Tach Short shifter It still has lots of work... The Bus is currently in my shop getting all ready for a trip i am going to go on. Ive raced a Couple of hondas.. nothing fast but they were crx si's Ive raced this and boy is it fun in the corners! It likes to whip around but thats the best part! Ive burried the spedometer.. it says 90 mph and Ive had it to the pin. Way fun! Hopefully I want to try and make a custom cold air intake, and put one of those Metal "Turbonators" in it to see if It can boost some performance! If in the future I have some $$ I plan to build a 3.0 for it!
