UK German Look Club?!
Count me in for one!
Got a '72 1303 being sprayed at the mo, just fitted the 901 box, getting the 944 brakes sorted too!
Got a 2007 efi turbo motor in the pipeline, after that I'll need some inspiration for an interior.

Tell you what, a GL display at Bug Jam would rock!

I'm ready to get talking too.

I like the idea of a UK section to the forum so if a vote is needed you have mine.

Hello
I was trying to get a meet organised and did organise one at dubfreeze but only three people turned up
Its like everything pleaple say yes they want to but when it comes to it only a few turn up, kinda disheartening.
Joe from VKG said we can use the VKG forum and several uk members have registered on their website, but feels like it has hit a brick wall!

Adam, all you need to do is start a thread asking members to sign in
if they are ready to join. Open paypal account or use one you already
have, then start collecting funds. We can send what shirts we already
have and if you need more, they can be made easily. We also have
stickers, key chains and welcome letters as well.

it would probably be beneficial to create a registry, so as to organise regional meets (if theres enough folks locally) and then national ones at many of the major shows.

was one of the people who turned up an owner of that electric blue late model with carbon bumpers and split rim esque wheels

I'm going on Sunday so I'll drop by your car at 1 to say hello.

Rich
I've bumped into you years ago when you had the Speedster, will you only be there on the Saturday.

So much for me having my car there, I'm sitting at home waiting for my engine from John Maher. It was dyno'd on Christmas Eve!

Yeah, I'm afraid so. I used to do both days as my grandparents lived round the corner but too far to do both days now. Need some project time anyway..

That's what I'm doing on Saturday too (although the engine still hasn't turned up)
Now that the clocks have changed we gets even longer to play outside, if the weather improves. It's a lovely day here in Harrow.

I think that sums up why we need a UK section to the forum, it gives us space to talk about the weather
