Wheels - Having thoughts about 17s again, take a look and let me know what you think.

Wheels. Currently running 15x6.5 wolfrace enigma's, but am ever more thinking 17's.....

As they are now

Here's a few of the ones I have knocked up. All would be 17x7's.

1000 Miglia HT3's

PA Racing PA-3 Chrome

Toora T240 Hyper black (my fav's at the mo)

This will also mean that my current wheels may be for sale soon.... 15x6.5 wolfrace engima LE's (set no 44 of 400 with certificate of authenticity). Goodyear eagle F1 tyres in good condition too.... in 4x100 PCD and 38 offset (fits perfectly).

Take it ez,
SAm C

none of those really blow me away. i like option 2 out of those though. just don't like chrome wheels on a GL that much though. they definitely have their place though.

HT3's are my favorite out of the 3 there.

I've always liked O.Z. Chrono Evolutions and Superleggera's. They may be a little more $ but they're pure business.

I am assuming you have a 4x100 pattern on the Wolfrace's, so those wheels previously mentioned may not work.

MM Spider, Action, and EVO5's are pretty cool and Im pretty sure they're 4x100.

I also like the Tekno Twister and Tornado. http://www.tekno-wheels.co.uk/home.html

So, there's a little food for thought.

First off, Ive always liked your car :)

Now, to your rims...

Out of all of those you chose, I still like your rims the best (even though they are only 15")

*Disclaimer: This is just my personal opinion

TekOne's

now you are talking my style. really like the looks of those. again, just my personal opinion. one of these days i need to decide what i am doing with a set of 16" ronals i have. i have been holding onto them "just in case", but i am not sure what that just in case is. they are powered black so i thought i would keep them as an optional "pair of shoes". plus, if i am estimating right, because of the very low offset they will not require spacers like my boxsters do. may use them for track rims if i ever go that direction.

Keep bouncing questions off of us for opinions on wheels. You already have shown some great options. But surely go for 17's, even the mock ups look great. I really like your the wheels you have now as well, maybe find similar ones that are just BIGGER, such as the first option you showed. Good luck!

They do make wolfrace enigma's in 17's... Only in standard alloy or polished though. Not the black Titanium finish like my current ones.... Chrome in 17s could look good...

http://www.wolfrace.co.uk/wheel-pages/enigma.htm

Apparently its urban chrome which is different to normal chrome... ?

Any other ideas for wheels?

Cya,
Sam C

Since everyone is throwing in their $0.02, I'm personally quite favourable to mille miglia action rims.

can't vouch for quality since i have never used them, but here is a company that makes similar styles to what you are looking at, but can provide them in just about any color of powder coating...
